![]() I tried to upload a video here, but its size is too big to be uploaded here.ĭoes anyone have some tips for me how to solve this problem? It doesn't matter if its a game which runs on Dosbox, steam, or via a separate installation. When I capture my desktop, it just works fine. The window shows the full screen of the video game but it's very small and not in the center of the file. OBS just captures a small window on the upper left side instead of a fullscreen. ![]() Unfortunately, even though the video capturing works right now, it doesn't really work when capturing a video game. Made sure my graphic drivers were up to date. Restarted OBS and my computer multiple times. I'm not sure if I'm just doing something wrong but nothing. Created a new scene, but that still did not work. I've been using OBS for about half a year now, my game capture was working fine back until September when it just stopped working for no reason, the only thing that would happen when i injected an application nothing would come up in a source like it always used to. After I had some difficulties to get OBS working on my Lenovo Laptop because of the black screen issue due do nvidia graphic settings, I solved the problem thanks to a lot of help from this forum as well as other sources on the web. Here are some of the things I mainly did: - Run OBS as administrator, so every time I open OBS the thing pops up. I'd like to capture and post video game longplays on Youtube. I don't see borderless as an option but I'm probably just missing it.I'm just getting started with OBS Studio 20.1.3 and with video capturing software in general. Solved (for me) So i was running on windows 7. Tried everythin I can to fix it, but nothing helped. When i want to stream fullscreen OBS has only a black screen for the capture. Game capture while osu is in windowed so far is the only configuration that works but I'd rather avoid additional input latency. As the title says i am unable to stream Valorant in Fullscreen settings, I can stream it in window fullscreen and with a display capture which leaves me with low frames. Running SLOBS in admin, I have updated my drivers (3080 FE), I have deleted and re-added the Game Capture/Display Capture/Window/Whatever and none of them work. 6) Select 'Video Capture Device' - A window will come up where you can name it after. 5) In OBS Studio, go to the Sources pane, and press the + (Add) button. 4) Make sure Elgato Game Capture HD software is quit. Click on the 'Select Game' option to choose a Game Window or Game Process. 1) Install Elgato Game Capture HD software, which will work with any Elgato Gaming device. Next, open EaseUS RecExperts and click on the 'Game' button on the left. Launch the gameplay that you want to record. Using a hotkey binding to set foreground capture doesn't work. How to capture gameplay video without the black screen on Windows 10, using EaseUS RecExperts: Step 1. Manually selecting in Game Capture doesn't work. Click on the game you want to record from the Windows drop-down menu. Name the source and choose specific game window. The change to game capture did not affect any games except Oculus Rift games, and minecraft definitely works, so I'd want to see if maybe anti-virus software is the issue for your case. Right-click on the Sources panel at the interface and go to 'Add' > 'Game Capture'. You now have the OBS hook locked to the Video. Problem is, when you have the source set for you game already, and you open OBS then, while running OBS you start the game, where you get to the menu first. ![]() When I switch back to fullscreen it stops working. MitchellGaming1 - please state if you have any anti-virus software, and if so which one you use if possible. The workaround is to fresh boot windows, going through menu until you're in the game you want to be. I can only get Game Capture to work when osu is in windowed. Hope this helps!īump, having the same issue with SLOBS and osu right now. Game Capture started working again immediately in SLOBS. If you dont see this setting in your shortcut you can also configure this in the Nvidia control panel. However, in osu Options menus, I went to Input > Mouse and selected "Never" under the "Confine Mouse Cursor" option. Actually since you are on a laptop one thing you may want to attempt is right clicking the shortcut for Streamlabs OBS and selecting the graphics device it uses to your 1060 graphics card. Before performing this move you may need to pause your game, then alt-tabbing. If you didnt see the red bounding box of the capture source in preview window then you need, Fit to Screen: right-click on Game Capture Transform>Fit to Screen. The only way I am currently able to get it working is to use a Monitor Capture instead of a Game Capture, but the performance hit makes the stream and game-play stutter terribly. This started March 9th, as I was able to stream the game without issue two days prior. Totalbummer wrote: Update: I used DDU to uninstall all my GPU drivers and reinstall everything. In such case, try: Game Capture Black Screen. OBS is showing only a black screen for Fortnite, but is picking up game sound.
